Used an online database and compiled the data of the average temperature of each month starting from 1780 in each state of the US into MATLAB. 

For the app designer, you are shown the design view of the app designer which has a drop down menu which allows you to scroll through the fifty states and choose your choice. When you run

the app, you will have the option to choose which state you would like to view. One aspect of the app to note is that before you interact with the button by choosing a state there will be no graph and the averages will not yet be displayed despite the button displaying the state Alabama. The

minimum temperatures over time will only be displayed for a state if you use the button to select

a state. The average minimum and maximum temperatures will also be displayed.
